Michigan Pension & Financial, Inc. has a strong presence in the small-plan market and over 20 years of history and experience. In today’s ever-evolving, contemporary marketplace, they needed a fresh brand identity to represent the institutional quality of their service and a distinctive online presence to match.

Beginning with a redesign of their logo, Michigan Pension needed a first impression that demonstrates their sensible, refined personality and the sense of security and peace-of-mind that their service brings to clients. It was our pleasure to incorporate the company’s legacy of chess motifs into their new presence.

With their sharp new logo as a starting point, we fleshed out Michigan Pension’s new visual identity with corporate stationery pieces and development of their web presence. The design motifs therein balanced the rich, bold presence of dark, glossy geometry with subtle, elegant textures and classic glyphic typography.
